SBA’s InnovateHER Challenge

SBA’s InnovateHER Challenge is a national prize competition aimed at unearthing products and services that impact and empower the lives of women and families through local business competitions that culminate in a live pitch Final Round on March 16 & 17, 2016 in the Washington, D.C. During the InnovateHER Finals, up to 10 Finalists will compete for the Top Three cash prizes totaling $70,000 provided by Microsoft.
The University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business, in partnership with Eugene RAIN and Fertilabthinkubator, are hosting the local InnovateHER competition where one local winner will be put forth to the national SBA InnovateHER competition for evaluation and possible forwarding to the final round.
The InnovateHER Challenge provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase products and services that:
- Have a measurable impact on the lives of women and families (30%)
- Have the potential for commercialization (40%), and
- Fill a need in the marketplace (30%).

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, U.S. Citizens or permanent residents, and meet other eligibility requirements as defined in the Challenge Rules.
The deadline for application submission is Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 11:59PM.
The top 10 submissions will be notified of their finalist status on Wednesday, Nov. 18th and will be asked to present their idea, in-person, to a panel of judges on Thursday, November 19 at 6pm at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business Lillis Business Complex.
