LivePlan Update: Cash Flow and Balance Sheet on the Dashboard

Posted By

Running your business takes more than just a passion for your customers and the products and services you sell. You also need to keep a close eye on your business financials so you can track performance and know how your business is doing.

When you review your numbers, you’ll easily see what’s working and what’s not, so you can adjust your strategy and your goals to improve your chances for success.

At LivePlan, we recommend that you review your business’s financial reports on a monthly basis—and more frequently is great too, if you have the time. A financial review meeting with your key business partners or staff is a great way to accomplish this.

LivePlan’s Dashboard makes monthly financial review simple. You don’t have to run any complex reports or manage any data in Excel—LivePlan does all the work.  In addition, you can set up the revenue and expense categories you want to track and map them to your accounting software, so no matter how complex your accounting data is, you can have a streamlined view in LivePlan.

And now, we’ve added balance sheet and cash flow statements to the LivePlan Dashboard. These reports, with the previously available profit and loss statement, bring you all the financial performance data you need, all in one place.

They allow you to easily review your actual financial statements and compare to your forecast, the previous period, and the previous year—all on one page. They’re also available to print from the Dashboard as reports so you can easily create handouts for your board of directors, investors, management team, or anyone else that you’ll include in your regular financial review.

We hope that these additions to the LivePlan Dashboard help to simplify your business financial reporting and make data-driven decisions about where your business is headed.
