LivePlan is a business planning software that walks with you through every step of your business journey. Whether you're just starting or looking to grow, LivePlan is there to make things easier and less stressful.
LivePlan allows you to write and share your plan in the following languages:
- Spanish (Latin American and Español)
- French
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Italian
- German
And, you can display your financials using any currency symbol you choose. Simply type in the amounts as they exist in your local currency.
Simply put, any organization can benefit from LivePlan!
While we don't recommend using LivePlan on your tablet or phone, you can still access your account via mobile devices.
Yes! LivePlan lets you create as many plans as you need, whether it's just a single plan or 100 plans. Our standard subscription allows you to have one "active" plan at any given time, but you can easily archive that plan and start a new one at any time.
All plans allow up to 5 contributors per LivePlan subscription.
As the account owner, you can allow specific collaborators to see and work on the plans you want them to see. The plan owner decides who can access what, on a plan-by-plan basis.
LivePlan makes it easy for you to collaborate with other users in your account, even working on the same plan at the same time. LivePlan prevents users from overwriting each others' work by allowing only one user at a time to edit a particular section. Other users will see that section of the plan as locked.
Our Customer Advocacy team is available to help Monday through Friday, 9 am PST to 5pm PST. Simply click the "Help" button on the bottom right-hand corner of liveplan.com, or in the app by selecting the blue help icon. There you can chat with support live, or send us an email during off-hours. We also offer a personalized onboarding call when you first signup for LivePlan to help you get started!
After signing up, you'll be asked to complete a short series of questions about your business. Then you'll be taken to the Guide - our recommended approach to getting started!
If you'd rather follow your own path, you can get started wherever you like. We offer helpful video tutorials along the way with step-by-step instructions.
Yes! LivePlan integrates with your QuickBooks or Xero account. In the event you don't have either, you can always upload your accounting data via a CSV upload or manually enter it into LivePlan.

If you need additional assistance with market research, LivePlan offers market research services. Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial of LivePlan. Upon signup, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan between our standard and premium plans. Simply sign up by clicking here.
We update our software regularly to improve your experience and add new features. Updates are included in your subscription, however, certain features may only be available on a premium plan - see our pricing page for details. You can view a list of updates we make to our software at any time by visiting our updates page.
LivePlan offers an iterative planning tool that empowers you to make smart decisions in your business as you grow! Whereas, other business planning tools offer a one-and-done solution to business planning-typically generating a business plan for funding and growth.
If you find LivePlan doesn't work for you for whatever reason, just contact us via email, phone or message us within the app within the first 35 days and we'll gladly refund your money. If you need to cancel after 35 days, you can simply cancel your subscription so you won't be billed for future months.
Feel confident that your business plan is 100% yours at any time. You can take your plan with you when you go. Simply export your plan before you sign out for the last time.
Yes! We will never share or sell your data. LivePlan runs on a dedicated network that is locked down with firewalls and carefully monitored 24/7. Your business plan will remain completely confidential. The content of your plan is entirely private unless you choose to share it via exporting, or inviting guests to your account. The plan data are stored securely on our servers and nobody from our company can view your plan unless you choose to allow us access for tech-support purposes.
