Beat Writer’s Block With LivePlan’s Help Me Write Feature

What’s the most difficult part of writing a business plan? Getting started. You’re likely staring at a blank screen with business ideas swirling around in your head. You just can’t get them down into an official plan. 

But what if you could just list all of those ideas and automatically create a plan from that? With LivePlan Assistant’s Help Me Write feature, you can. 

How it works

Help Me Write is available any time you click “Start Writing Now” on a section of your Plan. You’ll get instructions, examples, and the option to have the LivePlan Assistant do it for you. 

Now, just jot down any notes, ideas, or relevant facts that you want to include in your plan. If you have no ideas, you can leave this blank, and the Assistant will generate some for you. Once the LivePlan Assistant generates the text, you’ll have the option to insert it into your plan, edit your original instructions, or have it come up with other ideas.  

Remember, you can always come back and edit these AI-generated sections even after you add them to your Plan. 

This tool creates sections of your plan with the expertise of a professional business plan writer, giving you more time to focus on starting and growing your business.

How this helps with your planning

By adding a few key details, ideas, or thoughts you’ll have the start of a working business plan. No more writer’s block holding you back from pursuing your entrepreneurial dreams.

LivePlan’s AI features are designed to help speed up and strengthen the planning process. They are not meant to be “easy buttons” that allow you to skip past critical considerations about your business. If they did, we’d be setting you up for failure.

So, use Help Me Write to get your plan writing going, but don’t take what it generates as the final product. Take on a growth planning mindset and review, revise, and adjust the results to best fit the vision you have for your business. 

This will still help you create a solid business plan. And you’ll also learn how to successfully run and grow your business by doing this work yourself. Help Me Write just provides the inspirational push you need to actually get started.

Get past a blank page with LivePlan Assistant

The Help Me Write feature is now in Beta and available for every Standard and Premium user. 

We’ll be continuing to refine how this tool is integrated within your plan while exploring additional ways that it can support other areas of LivePlan.
