What is the difference between the Strategic Advisor program and the Expert Advisor program?

The Strategic Advisor program (described above) provides reduced pricing, specialized training and customer support to anyone working with small business clients in an advisory capacity. It provides the basics for using LivePlan as a small business advisor.

The Expert Advisor program is a method of certification and enhanced marketing and business development support by way of our Expert Advisor Directory. Certification is available after passing an exam and setting up your LivePlan demo account in a specific way for advisors. After that, the advisor has the ability to be listed in our online Expert Advisor Directory, which we promote to small business clients.

How does the 90-day LivePlan software trial work?

The 90-day LivePlan software trial allows Strategic Advisors a chance to learn how to use LivePlan as their platform for offering client advisory services.

We offer two licenses during the trial so advisors have access to two full client companies to try out with clients, or simply to develop sample clients to see how the software works. Use our webinar and online video training on-demand to get all the help and support you need, or select the implementation package for one-on-one support.

At the end of 90 days, the trial account switches to a paid account, with the first two licenses remaining in your account at a two-for-one price. Additional licenses can be added by the account owner through their LivePlan account as needed.

Is there a list of work tasks for the LivePlan Method business process?

Yes! The LivePlan Method business process for client advisory services is a detailed task list, covering about six hours of work. Tasks range from 1 hour to 5 minutes. You can download the task list here, but we recommend that you take our online training series, which covers how to implement the method and use it with LivePlan software.

What is the structure of LivePlan's account setup for advisors?

Strategic Advisors have one account, based on a main user's email address. Licenses are added to the account as needed. Each license holds one client plan, called a Company. The account may have unlimited users, and Companies are assigned read/write access by the account owner. Company plans can be archived at any time, and new company data may be written into the same license instance. All Companies can be accessed by the master account dashboard.

What payment methods do you accept?

What happens to my clients' plans if I cancel my account?

Your company plans are 100 percent yours at any time. You can take your plan(s) with you when you go. If you decide to end your LivePlan subscription, just export your plan(s) to Word or PDF before you sign out for the last time. You can also put your account on hold for a low monthly fee and we will keep all your data safe and secure for when you are ready to resume business.

Can I change or cancel my account after signing up?

Yes, LivePlan has no long-term contracts of any kind. You can also change from a monthly to an annual plan at any time—without any penalty.

Will my data be safe and private?

All data living within your LivePlan license, both your plan data as well as the financial actuals imported from your accounting solution, will remain secure and completely confidential. Our products run on a dedicated network with bank-level security that is locked down with firewalls and carefully monitored 24/7.
