“We’re sponsoring three angel conferences in the coming months and are on the lookout for more to sponsor; we just can’t get enough,” stated Palo Alto Software CEO, Sabrina Parsons. “We love to donate our software as well as our time and sponsorship to these events because we see the direct impact they make in the communities they support. When I’m asked to sit on a panel, host a seminar, or judge a business plan competition, I get a thrill at the opportunity to be directly involved in the process of starting and growing businesses. We’re hoping to spread the word to angel conferences everywhere that we’re a shoe-in and they should definitely approach us about participating in their events.”

The three upcoming angel conferences that Palo Alto Software is currently thrilled to be sponsoring are theSouthern Oregon Angel Conference (April 11),Willamette Angel Conference (May 9), and Seattle Angel Conference (May 16). The company is currently on the lookout for additional angel conferences to support and hopes to spread the word worldwide.

“It’s been great having LivePlan as a tool for our angel conference,” commented Steve Vincent, chair and founder of the Southern Oregon Angel Investor Conference and Network. “Our entrepreneurs can easily craft a pitch and write an investor-ready business plan. One thing that’s challenging for our investors continues to be reviewing plans with inconsistent financials. LivePlan makes it easy for them to review the financials knowing the calculations are all correct and the plans include all of the right types of numbers they want to see to properly assess a business opportunity.”

Sechrest related, “The Seattle Angel Conference and the Willamette Angel Conference both could not have happened without the support of Palo Alto Software. Without clear pitches and clear business models, entrepreneurs can spend a lot of energy and make very little progress. Tools like LivePlan and the Lean Canvas help them develop clear and effective models, which can make all the difference when looking for outside investment.”
